Luka

Name: Luka
Luka's story: Introducing Luka, my 9 month old Pekingese.  He is a beautiful, fluffy little bundle of joy.  Full of puppy mischief, he’s definitely got us around his paws!

  Boston

Name: Boston
Boston’s story:  We recently lost our lovely boy of 8 years: Alex.  During the time he was insured with you I cannot express enough gratitude in the fast response and payment of my claims and in particular during his battle and loss with Leukaemia. During this time I was able to access a number of therapies if we chose to do so and it offered us peace of mind during this time to know that we would not have a financial burden as well.  I have always had great service and always recommend you to as many people as I can.

Our new puppy Boston happens to be my last dog's great, great nephew so we will have fun getting to know him and have insured him with you today for that extra peace of mind.  Thank you for everything and Merry Christmas.

Bailey
Name: Bailey - wake me for dinner
Favourite pastime: Hiding shoes around the house
Bailey's story: Well its a long story really. I've been in and out of the vet since I was a puppy. I have problems with my joints and am always having little operations on them. I don't much like the operations, but I love it afterwards when I can run around again and it doesn't hurt. I can't walk too far these days but I still love going to the park to play with the other dogs.

  Bella
Name: Bella - can't live without my ball
Favourite pastime: Chasing my ball.
Bella's story: I love my ball...where did it go? I play with it in the back garden, take it to the park and to the beach, on my walks in the bush and when I go down to the river. I love it when my owners throw my ball into the river. Oh yeah - sometimes when I play in the river I get an ear infection which the vet has to fix. But that's all I have time for cause I have to go find my ball.
Eve
Name: Eve (most friends call me “Evie”)
Favourite pastime: Attacking large dogs in the park
Eve’s story: Sniffing around in the back garden, my leg got caught in a wire. At first I tried to pull it out gently, and then when it wouldn’t yield I had to yank it out. Yeoch! That really hurt. I couldn’t walk on my leg and went to hide behind the couch. I didn’t like going to the vet, and especially didn’t like the way he shaved me, but in the end, it turned out all right, although it was some time before I could indulge in my favourite pastime again.

  Frankie
Name: Frankie (Eve’s housemate)
Favourite pastime: I am known to be a bit of a chewer, but Eve gets really irritated when I take her things. So I try not to these days.
Frankie’s story: Well I don’t have a story yet because I am still young. But I am happy that my owners have got me insured, just in case.

Sophie
Name: Sophie - I think I'm a tiger!!
Favourite pastimes - sleeping on the BBQ table in the sun and climbing trees
Sophie's story: I have a huge garden and I love to climb trees and look at all the activity below. One day while climbing, I got a splinter in my eye. It didn't really hurt but it was annoying. The vet had to put me to sleep to take it out. Now I'm fine again.

CooperName:  Cooper, but call me "Coop" Coop's story: Cooper had Gastric Dilation, which meant he lost part of his stomach and his spleen during an emergency operation, a most traumatic experience for both Cooper and I,  I am pleased to say that Cooper is recovering slowly but is well on his way!  I must say I was so glad that I had peace of mind with having insurance and could easily make the decision to operate, given the size of the bill that I was totally unprepared for ... I have recommended Petsecure to everyone I know with pets!

Bozzie

Name: Bozzie - the intellectual in the family
Favourite pastime: Sock hunting
Bozzie’s story: I have a particular skin condition. It is very embarrassing because all the hair falls out in clumps and I look mangey. Actually I prefer not to discuss it too much.

Bingo

Name: Bingo – a touch on the needy side.
Favourite pastime: Sleeping, tummy rubs.
Bingo’s story: Well I really like eating bones, and one day when I was having a particularly vigorous chew, a whole chunk of one of my back molars came off. It didn’t hurt too much, and it didn’t stop me eating bones because I ate them on the other side but the vet thought it would be best to have an extraction. No problem. I was asleep!

Mischief

Name: Mischief - little miss vanity
Favourite pastime: Looking at herself in the mirror and preening
Mischief's story: Mischief is a 4 year old British short hair rescue cat who is allergic to fleas. When she got fleas recently and scratched at them, she lost a lot of her hair and was abandoned. She is rid of the fleas now but is still growing her hair back. She's moved into a bachelorette apartment and has taken over!
