Choosing the cover that's right for you

What’s covered?
Petsecure pet insurance offer two types of pet insurance plans, with optional Wellness Care benefits that can be added to either plan:
 
Accident Cover
This is the most affordable way of insuring your dog or cat. Accident Cover is designed to cover unexpected costs of up to $6,000 per annum if your pet is injured as a result of an accident. 
 
Accident and Illness Cover
Provides cover for veterinary treatment costs arising from both accidental injury and illness conditions suffered by your pet. Pays benefits up to a maximum of $6,000 per annum.
 
Wellness Care Option
This is an optional benefit that you can add to your base cover that assists you with stated routine and wellness care expenses such as desexing, teeth cleaning, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm control.
 
What’s paid?
Petsecure pays 80% of eligible vet bills up to the annual policy maximum of $6,000 with no limit on individual claims.   A Per-Condition-Excess (you choose either $50, $100 or $200 allowing you to choose how much of the claim you want to pay) is deducted from your benefit once only for each condition treated per policy year. This means if your pet needs on-going vet treatment for a specific condition and you select the $50 option, a Per-Condition-Excess of $50 is payable only once for that condition.
