We believe every companion animal deserves to be treated with respect and have food, exercise, shelter and vet treatment when needed.

Our aim at Albury Wodonga Animal Rescue is to save the lives of as many dogs, puppies, cats and kittens as we possibly can. We then seek permanent, loving homes for each animal.

We are proud of what we do and we have great gratitude and respect for each of our volunteers and supporters, no matter how much or how little they can do to help us and therefore each homeless animal.  We also aim to educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

Desexing, microchipping and registration of pets will help break the cycle of unwanted pets that are put to sleep every day in pounds across Australia.

How we rescue and rehome

We take dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from local pounds when their time is up, or that are surrendered to us from private homes. We vet check them and make sure they have stable temperaments. We then place them in foster homes, desex, vaccinate and worm and give any other vet treatment needed.
