Operating around the Southern Highlands of NSW, Golden Oldies Animal Rescue (GOAR) focuses on saving our senior rescue dogs & cats in need. Whether abandoned, surrendered on death row in pounds or surrendered by their owners directly to Golden Oldies Animal Rescue.
We rely on donations to provide the best care possible for our rescues, whilst in our foster care program.
Our aim is to re-home them long term, or provide them with palliative care, til they cross Rainbow Bridge.
We are always in need of food, flea and tick treatment, worming tablets and collars, both for cats & dogs.
Volunteers are always welcome too.
If you were have doubts about adopting an older dog, just read this story about the love that an older dog can bring to a home, and also the top ten advantages of adopting a rescue pet may help you make up your mind!
We always need foster carers so if you are prepared to open your home and heart to a Golden Oldie, just give us a call.
Our founder, Gina Fallon, has much experience in the world of Animal Rescue. Gina and her team have compassion and expertise and are focused on the best outcome for each individual animal.
