Q. Are there any waiting periods?
A. Accidental Injury will be covered as soon as your policy is effective and illness will be covered 30 days after your policy effective date. A six month waiting period applies for cruciate ligament conditions unless your vet certifies that no cruciate ligament conditions exist on joining.
Q. Can I get the 6 month cruciate waiting period waived?
A. Yes. This waiting period can be waived by getting your vet to complete the cruciate exam form which is available in Forms and Downloads. This form must be received by us within 14 days of having your pet examined by the vet.
